I am confused on who should fill out the FASFA. My husband and I are divorced, he lives in New Hampshire and I live in Maine. Our son goes to high school in Maine. My ex-husband provied the financial support for our son, shouldn’t he fiill out the FASFA form?
Our son lives with both of us somewaht equally, waht do we do.

If your son lives with you “equally”…then the parent providing the bulk of the support completes the FAFSA as the custodial parent. It sounds like this would be your former husband.

If he goes to HS in Maine, where you live, it sounds to me more like he lives with you more than 50% of the time. Unless you live right on the border of the 2 states it does not sound quite logical that he would be living equally in Maine and New Hampshire but attending HS in Maine.

Yes we live right on the border of Maine and New Hampshire, that is why he goes to school in Miane
