I’m a student trying to verify my financial aid in Kentucky through KHEAA, and I need to save my fasfa and send it in I think. Everything is confusing, and I don’t have anything that will read Fasfa’s type of pdf. It doesn’t indicate any way to get it to work, and when I saved it it just says file. Not what kind of file, or how I can get a program to read it. I have Adobe reader acrobat whatever, and that won’t work with it. I don’t know what to do, and I’m very stressed

I found this video. Follow the instructions. I think it wants you to verify the income that was reported on the FAFSA. An easy way to do this is to use the data retrieval tool in the FAFSA to link it to your parents’ tax return. If you also filed a tax return you will link yours too and then resubmit FAFSA.
If the IRS retrieval tool doesn’t work then the video gives instructions on how to order a tax transcript.
There is also a phone number to contact KHEAA at the end of the video if you need help.
Are you saying they need your FAFSA “sent” to them? Usually the FAFSA is sent electronically…by being submitted. To your school. Did you do that?
Google your school’s code. Enter the code where asked on the FAFSA and submit. Your FAFSA will be electronically submitted to the school. That’s the process.
