My son went to National Portfolio Day to get feedback on his fashion design portfolio. His top schools are Parsons, Pratt, & FIT. The admissions counselor from Parsons seemed very excited & impressed with his work. He said, repeatedly, “I really hope we see you in the fall.” Of course, he was so excited to hear this. He is submitting his portfolio for early decision next week & this meeting really has his hopes high. He has a 3.7 gpa. I’m worried he is now overly confident that he is getting in based on this positive feedback. Just curious if anyone has any insight into how much weight to give these NPD reviews? Trying to keep my son grounded & prepared for things to come.
