Are long trench coats still in style. I bought a pair of white skinny jeans to wear with alligator sandals. Skinny jeans look terrible on me from the behind, so I have to keep that covered. I like that sleeveless long trench duster or coat look over it. Is it in style enough to wear in May?
Depends in the style of the trench! Burberry still offers several lines of full-length trenches in addition to their 3/4 and shorter coats.

Is it for wearing outside or inside? I think BB’s look is super cute, but also would not be wearing that coat inside!

yes that would be fine indoors or outdoors- just make sure your arms are in good shape though…
If you are talking about a sleeveless trench vest meant to be worn indoors (shaped like the checkered one worn by Amal Clooney), stores still sell them, so I think they are still “in”. For example:

The duster look is still in style. I just received spring J.Crew catalogue as well as Lord & Taylor spring promotion flyer and I am sure that I saw either in both or one of the two, possibly also in the recent New York magazine spring fashion issue as well.
@BunsenBurner …yes…Amal is who I am trying to channel…that’s where I got the idea. They are still selling that Tome black and white duster. It’s half off for a mere $749! It is to be worn inside! Glad to read the look is still in catalog! It’s actually a little edgy for me, but I thought it would love good when we go to NYC.
