FASIP Application

So I’m applying for FASIP and the application requires a cover letter addressed to “an organization of interest to you”. I am wanting an internship after my freshman year preferably that has something to do with electrical engineering, but as of right now I don’t know/haven’t looked at which organizations/internships would be suitable for me(which is what I hope FASIP will help me with).

So does anyone know if I should search for some specific internships of interests before I write my cover letter for my application to FASIP, or should I just write down something broad related to electrical engineering?

Thanks.

If anyone else is wondering about this, I asked and they said to just write down some organization that you think would be interesting for you, or if you really don’t know you can just write something broad related to your field of interest.

oh thanks, do you know how competitive the application process is? i heard it’s on first come and first basis. i just mailed mine out via priority today from California (i thought about express, but the 16 dollar price tag seemed too steep)

I went to the presentation at CPW and they basically said if you want it you’ll get it. (about 100-110 apps for 100 spots)

yeah, I’m pretty sure its a first come first serve thing.

so have anyone gotten in yet? or when do we find out?
