<p>What does it mean when the application asks: “What professional field(s) are you interested in exploring this summer?” </p>
<p>What kinds of answers are they looking for here?</p>
<p>^^Honest answers. As in, I’m interested in finance or marketing; or, I’d like to explore civil engineering; or, I’m interested in optics; computer graphics applications; robotics and machine vision; anything related to medicine or bioengineering; social science research…etc.</p>
<p>Oh. I didn’t mean to ask how to spin the answer. </p>
<p>I was honestly not sure what “professional fields” are. Are they jobs? As in “researcher,” “accountant,” “analyst,” “manager,” etc.?</p>
<p>You can be broad or specific =D What do you want to do with your life? Run a business? Research and develop drugs?</p>
