Fast food restaurant ranking

http://www.cbsnews.com/media/5-most-loved-and-hated-fast-food-restaurants/

I disagree with this ranking.

Dunkin’s Donut does not deserve to be mentioned.
In-N-Out Burger should be in the top 5.

Pick a fight.

Before I clicked this link I had already decided that Chick Fil A was #1 and if it wasn’t I was going to go off the walls.

Chick Fil A is #1! I don’t give them most $20 a week for nothing!

If Chick Fil A ever had a fan club or something of that sort, I would be a part of it in a heart beat.

I’ll support #1 and #2 on the “best” - Chipotle and Chick Fil A - though I don’t love Chick as much as my kids seem to! I’d add Five Guys in there.

Worst? BK would be my #1 - don’t know anyone who eats there anymore! I don’t think McD deserves the #1 “worst”. And yeah, DD would not be on a top #5 list for me (though I love donuts!)

I’m ticked off at Panera because they closed the one closest to me.

If McD’s is the worst, it certainly doesn’t show in their drive thru lines around here nor in the number of bags/cups students bring in to school with them.

I can easily see Chick Fil A being #1 though. They always have a crowd. Ditto that with Chipotle.

I just don’t see McD’s being worst by popularity. BK would win that battle. We hardly see anyone there when we drive by.

BK is terrible around here. All the ones in my city have terrible service.

McD’s service has gone downhill recently IME. Food was never great but its consistent and used to be fast. Last few times I’ve been it was really slow. Granted, I average about once a year

We have a local Chiplotle-type chain so I hardly ever go to Chipotle–I go the local version. But the times I’ve been they are defintely above average for fast food.

I agree with the worst list.

Chick-fil-a, 5 Guys and Bojangles are my favs.

Taco Bell is terrible. I always want it, but when I have some I’m brought back to reality - fake cheese and even faker meat. If I had to get Burger King, I’d get their chicken sandwich or the french toast sticks, but it’s always a hit or miss with the store down from me.

I think Taco Bell has a legendary late night following. I rarely do fast food but once or twice a year when I cave in, an order of nachos supreme is a guilty pleasure!!!

Yes, they do have a late night following. It’s terrible, but I still eat it. LOL Although, I’m an avid nacho eater, although I’ve never had nachos from Taco Bell. Their burritos and enchiladas have always pulled me in. That and their Baja Blasts. Mmm…

Never have tried their breakfast, but from the looks of it I’m not missing out. It’s always based on a time crunch and ease of access in my area. If I’m out and about and have time for breakfast, I’m much more likely to head to Chick Fil A breakfast, then take a go at Taco Bell breakfast.

I honestly don’t get the hype behind Chick Fil A. Everyone I know raves about their food quality, but I just don’t see it. Probably the most overrated fast food place IMHO.

Chipotle needs to work on the acoustics in their restaurants… I feel like I need to bring ear plugs every time I go! More comfortable seats would also be nice.

Smash Burger, In-and-out, and Baja Fresh are probably at the top of my list.

Panera is always very slow. I can’t see how it is on a fast food list.

Other than that, I dislike all the chains on the list, and won’t patronize 2 for political reasons. I don’t think I’ve ever tried ChickFilA. I don’t like large burritos, so I don’t see the point of Chipotle.

Our favorite is Pollo Loco. I’m OK with Quiznos and Jack in the Box on driving trips. Other that that, we have regional chains that we like, such as Hamburger Habit and Daphne’s. I have some items I like OK at Taco Bell. We used to have a couple Baja Fresh places that we liked, but they closed. Carl’s Jr is OK.

Should Rubios on the list?

Among the Burgies, KB burger is better than MD burger.
I like MD coffee though. It’s better than Starbucks coffee.

I also like In-N-out, especially their chilli peppers.

The only fast food I will even eat now is Shake Shack. That being said, my dad’s company is on the worst list - they own over 600 of those and other smaller fast food chains and people eating this junk allowed me to live a very nice life growing up and my parents to have a fabulous retirement.

I like DD for their muffins and their coffee is way better, imo, than Starbucks.

Chicken Express should be on the list just for their catfish and corn nuggets. Yum.

We do eat fast food about once a week.
Usually food trucks.
This was the last one, I had an oyster po’boy that was excellent.

Others are Dairy Queen, Jack in the Box , & every once in a great while, Taco Time.
But if we can find an independent place on road trips, thats what we prefer.
This Dairy Queen sounds fun!

We don’t have most of the chains people like here. There is one Chipotle in the Greater Portland area, and recently Five Guys have made an appearance. Paneera has been here for a while.

The thing I love about Chipotle is that you can get the burrito fillings of your choice on a bed of salad greens, which is perfect for those of us who must eat low carb. The downside is that you can’t eat it while driving.

I am a fan of Fresh City, which apparently belongs to McD’s, but has completely different food. There I can get a Cobb or Chicken Ceasar salad on a low carb wrap. But the only place I’ve seen it is at the Charlton rest stop on the Mass Pike near Worcester.

Paneera is great, but IMHO it doesn’t qualify as “fast food.”

^ You mean a burrito bowl, right?

Niquii- have you been to s Bojangles? It’s great!

My favorite comedian and his take on McDonalds:

Skip to 6:34 for the short version.

Unfortunately, I have never lived close to one, but from the Google images it looks like they have crispy chicken on biscuits -two things I enjoy greatly - and oh, my goodness. It looks so good. :frowning:
