Fast read, odd scores, chance please :)

Keeping it short and sweet:

ACT superscored: 34 english, 30 math, 25 reading, 26 science, 29 composite.

SAT II: 650 physics, 690 history, expecting 700+ in math II

Full IB curriculum and I got a 4 on the IB physics SL test and a 4 in AP history

I’ve won some league speech and debate awards, qualified for the state competition, reached regionals in Lion’s Club speaker contest

One term as president and VP of Speech and Debate, president and founder of science club, secretary of JSA, NHS web tech, speech and debate captain.

3 years varsity golf
1 year JV wrestling

3.9 unweighted GPA, 4.3 weighted

40+ hours volunteering at hospital

I’m wondering if colleges will look past my ACT composite score and notice my more competitive English and math scores. I know my other ACT scores are way off. I’m not a good standardized tester. What do you think my chances are in Ivies such as Cornell? UC Berkeley?

Thanks!

your SATs IIs might be a little low (Ivies like 700+), same for ACTs. Volunteer hours look good though.

Are you in-state or OOS for Berkeley. OOS might be slim chance

Sorry, yes I’m in-state and I’m ELC as well.

The UCs do not superscore the ACT.
