Fast track degree?

I’m thinking that I would like to do a fast track degree in psychology because it would save me some money and it would also help me to get a BA and MA in a shortened time. This could help me to get finished with my education (as I intend to get a phd) earlier than I would if I didn’t do this. If anyone has any information on schools that do this, I would really appreciate it.

If you want to save money you could always do CC first.

When you say fast tracked degree do you mean one where some of the courses you take count towards undergraduate and graduate degrees?

Stuff like this:

You could shorten the time by accruing college credits while in high school (APs) and attending school over the summer. Keep in mind, however, that short-cuts may put you at a disadvantage for the better PhD programs, which also look for things like internships, work experience and research – all of which would be limited in your case.

Okay thank you @philbegas and @katliamom
and yes I meant when the BA and MA are combined to make it a little shorter of time getting the MA

I’m no pro about this but I did a google search for “accelerated MA psychology”

https://www.google.com/search?q=accelerated+ma+physcology&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=accelerated+ma+psychology

I saw results for:
Drexel
George Mason University
Claremont Mckenna
Loyola
University of Michigan
Suffolk

I really appreciate you searching @philbegas thank you for some school options

Sure thing, just go through that list and try to find some that you like, and get a decent mix of safeties, matches, and reaches.

Thank you for the advice @philbegas
