fast track to harvard

i wonder how much weight an interviewer can have, i dont have great test scores but besides that everything is flawless. my interviewer said it would be hard to get in with those scores but he liked me so much that he said he was going to do all he could to get me in becuase he liked me so much and thought harvard was a great fit for me. do u think if it shows he has great interest in my attending that it would make a difference and could affect my chances that much?

I’ve heard of a case in which a student got into Cornell because of the interview. Her scores were good but not crazily-great, but her enthusiasm impressed the interviewer, who strongly championed the girl to be a freshmen at Cornell. She got in - she was the only one in her school to get into an ive.
