Any ideas ?

marry a us citizen

just that ?

This could quite possibly be the worst forum on the entire Internet to ask this question.

Be born in the US, to parents who are US citizens.

Can’t beat instantaneous!

The best way? Get a student visa to go to school here. While you are here try and get a working visa so you can work here, all while applying for you green card every year. After about 7 or 8 years, you might get your green card, and then after about 5-10 years, become a citizen.

haha 7 to 8 years is too long mate!

I was wondering if I could goto USNA. Which is rather possible if I get nominated by my country but I going in the normal way would be better.

Not 100 percent sure…but school and work are easiest from what i know. In general it’s just hard to be a citizen/

This is the slowest way. Even illegal immigration is a better idea.

lol, yea i know…

7 years for green card is bs, it was a lot less for us… and i can’t see the time fluctuating much either. i believe it’s only 5 years for citizenship after you have a green card too. most immigrant families i know have been here less than i have and are citizens.

ajayc,do you really need to be a citizen very soon? why?

seriously…marry a citizen.

Even if one’s parents were undocumented, if one is born in the US, then he is a US citizen.

oh dear god why would you want to change your citizenship? ( or gain another for that matter?)…I’m quite happy with my little, widely uknown, country´s citizenship.

There is no fast way to get citizenship. You have to go through the process like all other immigrants do. Even if you marry a U.S. citizen the process takes awhile.

Check out this government site:

Good luck!

marry someone who has a pretty important position with the US government who has to go overseas again soon

lol. (10char)

5 years after green card. A lot longer to get it. If you come here on a student visa, you can’t apply for a green card. You need a work visa (H1B) and a company to sponsor you. That can take a long, long time to find in the first place, and the actual application process is up to two years after that. Especially for those folks who had to do it after 9/11. In total, 10-15 years is realistic coming in as a student.
