This man is clearly a very charismatic psychopathic con man. What really concerned me was how he got access to the students in the first place. He moved into his daughter’s on- campus dorm, living there, inserting himself into the lives of her fellow dorm residents. And when Sarah Lawrence was approached about this, apparently they said that they couldn’t do a thing, that they couldn’t stop a student’s parent from “visiting” her at school - when the man was living there. Now that he’s been arrested, now that some of the students have managed to escape his orbit, I would imagine that at least some of the parents are going to sue Sarah Lawrence for having allowed this predator with a criminal record to have moved into their kids’ dorm.

Sarah Lawrence is really in the wrong here. Saying they couldn’t do anything. They could’ve done something…
And as for a parent visiting their kids in the dorms, nothing wrong with the parent stopping by, but actually staying overnight and living there? That’s against the rules and weird. Any parent staying overnight in the dorms would raise eyebrows. A normal parent staying long term in the dorm is odd, but a guy who is a predator and criminal shouldn’t be allowed at all
