I’ve heard of this really overrated and emo band I think it was called AFI but I dunno I can’t remember all those overrated and emo bands just kinda run together.

For some reason, most kids in my grade haven’t heard of 80s stuff. I guess I just find it weird since I grew up on Prince, Duran Duran, Phil Collins, etc.

And not many people listen to EBM/future synth pop in order to like VNV Nation.

Not very many people really like film scores all by themselves as well. John Williams may be the only one that people have heard of, and I think all his music sounds the same, though catchy.

I feel like I’m being a non-conformist, but I’m not. I do love Coldplay, along with everyone else in the world.

Ew, John Williams. I can’t stand listening to his music. I guess part of the reason is that we’re so inundated with a half dozen or so of his biggest main titles, and most of his other music essentially sounds the same as these.

Of course, my favorite film composer is Danny Elfman, so not many people will take my opinion seriously. :/

But seriously, his main titles are fųcking awesome. And every once in a while a non-main titles track will rock as well. =0

The Fountain was great, but I haven’t heard any of his other works.
