I know we had a thread on apps a while ago, and people mentioned games, but what specific time-wasting games do you like?

I have Angry Birds and Jewel Quest - Emerald Tear, and like them both a lot. But would like to add more :D

Hands down, Angry Birds. My kids crack up over my apparent Angry Bird skills…

Bejeweled
Skeeball
TapTap
Birdstrike

Check out the “Top 25” or “Top 25 Free” apps on your Itouch and you’ll get a good sense of what is currently popular.

zenbound
monster pinball
triazzle
paper toss :world tour
bookworm

I adore Angry Birds - currently trying to get three stars in every level. I’m 93% of the way there! I play it during commercials mainly.

I also like Tap Resort Party and Glow Fishy since they’re actually kind of pointless but fun to look at and don’t take much time to keep up. Other games I haven’t yet deleted are Labyrinth 3D and Doodle Jump. If you like cards, Solebon is good.

I love Solitaire. I am actually sort of OCD about it and play it mindlessly.

My new fave (on Android) is “Unblock Me”…I think its available for iPhone/Touch as well. Also, Bubble Popper (mindless). And, totally agree on Angry Birds.

Yesterday the Wall Street Journal had an big article on Angry Birds - with pictures!

I’m over that age demographic but am now at 95% of all possible stars. I asked my 18 year old nephew to try and get me a few more three stars but he couldn’t get more than two. At last I feel competent in one form of technology!

LOVE Angry Birds! (It’s coming to consoles next year! Just read that.)

Cut the Rope is another fun game.

“The average mobile-game player is 45 years old…”

Oh good! I’m above average!!! :)

(I too am working on increasing my Angry bird stars…are they going to come out with another version or additional levels?)

Also check out Doodle Jump, Flood It, Harbormaster and Clickomania. D loaded a ton of new games on my ipad when she was home for Tgiving, including most of the ones already mentioned here. Two of my other favorites are ipad Scrabble and Boggle. All these games are available on itouch, too.

Words With Friends – Scrabble-like game where you and another person play, i.e. I put a word on the board and hit “send;” friend sends a word back to me, etc. Actually puts the ole brain to use!
