Favorite "guilty pleasure" movie?

Hanna, on our Princess cruise last summer, we found the TV station that’s mostly Love Boat reruns. Loved it!

So … Without revealing titles, does anyone have a “guilty pleasure” movie or two that they are not willing to reveal on this anonymous forum for fear of damaging their online reputation? “Yes” or “no” answer to this question would suffice! (Not [necessarily] talking about porn; let’s eliminate the true porn for the sake of this discussion).

Hmmm … I would have to think about this one … Nothing comes immediately to mind. So maybe I have no true guilty pleasures!

Two thumbs up

Hey, some of us are confessing next to our names and pictures – among our past and future clients! I think everyone in our culture enjoys some lowbrow entertainment, so we can trust that no one will actually think less of us for our silly pastimes. Having a graduate degree or two also helps protect us against assumptions that we checked our brains at the door.

I guess if my favorite movie were “The Triumph of the Will” or something, I wouldn’t want to admit it. Though film and communications students do study it as a masterwork of photography and propaganda.

Cinderella (Brandy / Whitney Houston version)
Rocky Horror Picture Show

Never Been Kissed and Mean Girls. Both awesomely quotable.

I love that Cinderella movie!

I just want to say that I just rewatched Center Stage. Loved it yet again!

Kelly’s Heroes, spaghetti westerns and john Hughes movies

Pretty much any flick with Tom Hardy or Jude Law.

I’m a sucker for nearly any old-fashioned musical, especially if there are catchy tunes. I don’t care too much about how PC or hokey it is. Rogers & Hammerstein, Rogers & Hart, Leonard & Lowe were really melodic geniuses! Andrew Lloyd Weber wrote some amazing music but it’s much tougher to sing than the old musicals.

Any “Godzilla vs. ***” movie.
