Favorite higher level summer music classical composition camps

My son is a violist—currently at BUTI this summer for viola workshop and young artists orchestra. He loves it!

Next summer he’s interested in a composition camp. I’d appreciate any recommendations. He’s looking for primarily classical music composition and will be a high school junior next year.

My favorite is Walden School in Dublin NH. (6 weeks, world class musicians, classes, hikes, on the progressive side but classical)

Boston Conservatory (2 weeks), Brevard, BUTI, Atlantic Festival, Yellow Barn.

Great way to get pieces played by musicians for application purposes!
