I didn’t watch frequently, and only remember the flirtations between the two. Did they ever become a couple in the show?
They did! Although if I remember correctly right after that Cybill Shepherd had to go on pregnancy bedrest and Bruce Willis was making the first Die Hard so they weren’t on screen together much

- Nina and Patrick on Offspring
- James McAvoy and Keira Knightley’s characters in Atonement
- Rory and Jess on Gilmore Girls (not as heartbreaking as the other two, but I am Team Jess all the way!)
