I found 2 threads about iphone apps but they were several years old. I just got my first iphone and find selecting apps overwhelming . For the veteran iphone user how many apps do you have on your phone? List your favorite 10 or so?

depends on what you like to do or need. I have some medical apps I love for work, games I like etc. I tend for simplicity in design rather than some with all the bells and whistles.
MedScape (medical)
Epocrates (medical)
Simplist (simple list–like I said–I like simple)
Notes
Ambiance (sound app)
Card Shark (super app with lots of great solitaire type games best I’ve found)
Weatherbug
Gas Buddy (local gas station prices)
LOL Pics and LOL Demotivation
Of course Angry Birds in ALL its forms!
There are some great cookbooks out there (How to cook Everything, cook’s Illustrated)
There are news sources from just about every outlet.
I’d love to hear about other apps too!

Yelp

1Password
Shopper
Red Laser
Glympse
Shazam

Southwest Airlines (for getting boarding passes away from a computer)
Shine

Oovoo (like skype)

CC of course :)
