Since decisions come in little over a week, let’s get a thread going of favorite actors and movies to kill some time and get our minds off the subject…I’ll start…

Favorite Actors: Russell Crowe, Robert DeNiro, Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio (no I am not a chick, this man is a great Actor)

Favorite Movies: A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man, Raging Bull, Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Godfather Part 1 (obviously), The Aviator

No one can take that away from me nobody. Some guys weren’t that lucky… like the one Marlon Brando played in “On the Waterfront” – an up and comer who’s now a down and outer. You remember… there was that scene in the back of the car with his brother Charlie, a small-time racket guy, and it went somethin’ like this – “It wasn’t him, Charlie. It was you. You 'member that night in the Garden you came down my dressing room and said. ‘Kid, this ain’t your night. We’re going for the price on Wilson.’ You 'member that? ‘This ain’t your night!’ My night – I coulda taken Wilson apart that night! So what happens? He gets the title shot outdoors at the ballpark, and what do I get? A one-way ticket to Palookaville. I never was no good after that night. It was like a peak you reach. Then it went downhill. It was you, Charlie. You was my brother, Charlie. You shoulda looked out for me a little bit. You shoulda taken care of me just a little bit so I wouldn’t have to take them dives for the short end money… You don’t understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody – instead of a bum, which is what I am. Let’s face it. It was you, Charlie… It was you, Charlie”

Greco, if you are a guy and don’t like Godfather and have the ability to quote any line from it or relate any scence to a real life moment there is something wrong with you. My thoughts on the movie.

i think its deniro in raging bull. i havnt seen the film, but “i coulda been a contender” is one of the most famous movie lines out there. im not sure if it was from that movie or not though.

my fave flicks are: braveheart, gladiator, the matrix (1 the others stink) the godfather, dr. strangelove, a beautiful mind, master and commander, star wars, lotr, spiderman one and two, oceans eleven, rat race, zoolander, clue, three amigos, and lethal weapon 4 (i havnt seen the others) rush hour is also good. oh and goodfellas. and forest gump, saving private ryan. and catch me if you can. and for indian movies (im indian) sholay and dilwale dulhunia lay jayange. (most indian flims suck hardcore though)

my fave actor is russel crowe (spellin?) other good actors include de niro, brando, pacino (the 3 O’s lol) tom hanks, leo decaprio (yeah hes good catch me if you can rocks) mel gibson, lol this is so indian but shah ruhk khan. im sure there are more but i cant think of them.

Least Favorite Movies: POTC, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and The Nightmare Before Christmas– these three films have no depth.

Least Favorite Actors: Johnny Depp and Daniel Radcliffe. They only got “cool” faces yet totally have no idea how to act. I go for actings, not looks.

Actor? josh "HOT"nett and Ben Affleck
Actress? Reese witherspoon (she’s only hot bec she “went” to Harvard, but in reality, she did go to Stanford)

anyone seen marlo brando in streetcar named desire? he’s one hawt son of a gun, i won’t comment on the ladies since they each have their own special attributes that makes them desirable ;)

Call me immature but I love the teen comedy genre…
American Pie 1,2,3, RoadTrip, EuroTrip, Not Another Teen Movie etc. etc… All of those sort of movies…

I am not the “Shakespeare in Love” sort of movie fan… I believe in movies that entertain you… The only remotely serious movies that I have loved have been A Beautiful Mind, Life is Beautiful and Gladiator – however they were still really entertaining.

Favourite actors – Tom Hanks (This guy has got class…), Russell Crowe, Sean William Scott, Ashton Kutcher (the teen comedy gurus)…

Favourite actresses – Call me shallow but this is based truly on their physical appearances - ANGELINA JOLIE, Charlize Theron, Jessica Alba… lol

Tarantino is the ****in’ man- I’d say “Pulp Fiction” and “Reservoir Dogs” top the list for his work.

Hitchcock is great- “Vertigo”, “Rear Window” and “Notorious” are my favorites of his, although I have to say I’ve never seen “Psycho”.

Spielberg deserves nearly all the praise he gets- call me crazy but “Jaws” is still my favorite; another thing… it sickens me that “Close Encounters…” gets so overshadowed by “E.T.”… the former is a vastly superior film.

Tom Hanks, James Stewart, Kevin Spacey and Russell Crowe are favorite actors… it was seeing the campus in “A Beautiful Mind” that first got me interested in Princeton so long ago.

And my favorite film of all time… “American Beauty”.
