Thinking it’s too acidic.
Maybe the apple cider vinegar makes it too acidic for you? If so, you might like the TOST, it’s really good!
I want to try that!
You can order a bottle to try off Amazon.
Tost looks to be available at Safeway and Walmart and other places cheaper than Amazon, for anyone searching for it.
La Croix Limoncello is my favorite flavor this summer.
We got some dragonfruit drink at Costco and are mixing it wit S Pellegrino 1:1. Makes a nice 50 calorie drink!
Sometimes, you just need a rootbeer float made with diet rootbear and bit of vanilla ice cream. Today was that day for me. Waited for it all day and went to make it after dinner. Unfortunately, for some reason, DH decided to drink the 1/2 of a diet rootbeer I saved for this purpose. It’s not very often there is a half-dunk rootbear sitting in our beer fridge without a purpose. Can you tell I’m a bit miffed?
I found Tost at QFC this weekend, $6.99 a bottle. Haven’t opened it yet.
That is crazy cheap, I’m going to try QFC next!
@busdriver11 – I finally got to TJ’s to try the Apple Cider Vinegar beverage–tried the Lemon and Strawberry tonight–fantastic! This could be a game changer! I’ll try the Elderberry/Pomegranate tomorrow; really pysched to find an alternative-to-wine for sipping in the evening. Thanks!
Glad you tried it! It is a tough call to find anything that works as a wine replacement, but I keep trying!
Same here - the TJ’s apple cider vinegar drink wasn’t good with me. But i accidentally picked up a can that was next to those, that was just some kind of tangerine seltzer with probiotics, that was really good (no vinegar, totally different product, just adjacent on the shelf).
I haven’t found anything wine-like I’m willing to drink, but love playing around with the Soda Stream. Bitters + fruit juice and/or ginger beer + carbonated water. Yum.
If you just want to open a can in addition to things that have been mentioned above, I really like Bitter Bubble. It currently comes in three flavors - blood orange and chamomile, sour cherry and chicory and rhubarb and hibiscus. We picked it up in the Mad River Taste Place in Waitsfield, VT. Not sure how easy it is to find outside the state, but it is available on line.
Ha ha, water with a lemon wedge. But if I indulge in seltzer water, Waterloo brand cherry-limeade is it for me. Love it.
Edit 2: I LOVE V-8 juice. Yum.
Yeah, I was going to recommend that too, but liked the other one better. It is refreshing.
Waterloo especially the watermelon, peach, strawberry and blackberry lemonade
I haven’t got to Trader Joe’s yet to try the apple cider vinegar drinks.
This weekend I squeezed fresh pink grapefruit juice into an iced glass of Spindrift grapefruit. Added a squeeze of a lime wedge. It was delicious and refreshing.
Yum! I always find the Spindrift drinks not too tasty, but that seems like a great way to perk them up.
My husband likes to doctor his fizzy water like flavored S Pellegrino or Spindrift with a small splash of Pom.
