W1cked, great quotes. Where do you receive your information? That should shut up the liberals here for awhile. In addition, how ironic that Kerry even admitted to the threat of WMDs in Iraq.

Great quotes wicked…but that fails to explain how 0 WMDs have been discovered in the time we have been in Iraq. If Clinton had faulty intelligence, then he did, but luckily he didnt jump the gun and attack Iraq so it wasnt him to be smeared.

Bush had backing of Kerry and his merry lot. So if he lied, they lied. Note how they explicitly said they support a full scale military action. Sigh, its so sad you guys are such partisans that you have to rationalize an extremely explicit statement.

Kerry and Bush both suck.

Yea thats true. However I am sick of brainwashed people proclaiming ‘Bush lied, people died, lolz!!’

Funny Story: Last year when I was in Toronto I saw kids wearing those NOFX shirts that have a pic of Bush and says: “not my president”. I mean, of course he’s not your president, you’re canadian.

I’ll agree that Bush has made some mistakes, but he is infinitely more qualified than that ■■■■■■■■■ Kerry.

Kerry: “Hey, look at me, I’m a great citizen. I live in a bunch of gigantic mansions. I served in Vietnam for only 3 months, yet I’m the greatest war hero this world has ever seen and I’m gonna keep pounding this into your heads until you elect me president because that’s the only thing I have going for me. I went to Yale and got a C minus average. I have no real world experience, yet I have the ability to marry very wealthy woman for my own ****ty political agenda.”

Bush got bad grades as well.

So a lot of Democrats initially supported the war. Maybe that’s because they were fed lies.

twisted logic, huh? :)

Democrats supported instituting the draft.

I hate democrats and republicans.

Both candidates sucked.

Thats obvious.

Yes, Bush may not be the most intelligent person on the earth, but he is a smart businessman. He knows how to win votes and he knows how to lead this country. He’s a decision-maker.

Neither was the cream of the crop, but one was better than the other.

Honestly, I would have preferred Kerry to have won and surround himself with academics and policy advisors rather than Bush using fringe science to determine policy. (Im referring to all non-war related issues here…because there is a country to run.)

Kerry would have used fringe science too… What do you call global warming? How about peak oil? Waits for someone to say ‘You don’t believe in global warming?!!! You must be a lackey of big oil!!’

Global warming isnt fringe science when over 300 members of the National Academy of Sciences send a letter to Bush that they are worried about his lack of direction in curbing global warming.

Fringe Science is only using the research of Richard Linzen in determing policy.

Edit

Before you jump the gun and say that i think democrats are perfect, I acknowledge that both parties have used fringe science to support policy. However, the policy used by the Bush administration has gone far and beyond anything else.

Realize that 30 years ago people went nuts over global cooling. How about nuclear winter? How about eugenics? How about a million other garbage theories that were hyped about? About 50 years from now we will look back at global warming and laugh. About the NAS, science and politics do not mix. I do not have time to write a detailed reason why global warming is junk science, but I will tomorrow, after I am done with Chem AP.

Id love to hear your opinion on the matter in comparison to most of the most intelligent environmental and atmospheric professors in the world.

Hmm…

You can’t deny that the environment is being destroyed. The question is whether or not to let our children/their children deal with it in time or to prevent the destruction now…

…I vote that we stop ruining it tomorrow. :)

I propose we know what we are talking about first. I would like to ask. How exactly is our environment being ruined. Second, do you have any data to back your claim that global warming is occuring?

Bob I would not exactly put blind faith to your ‘brilliant professors’. Know James Hansen? As in the father of global warming? He predicted a rise of .35 degrees in 1988 over the next decade. He was off by more than 250%. If you can call that sound science, hats off to you.
