<p>I’m thinking of putting “Don’t let school get in the way of your education” by Mark Twain but I’m not sure if the school will get a laugh out of it or will just think i’m an ass. It is one of my favorite quotes though. What does CC think?</p>
<p>By itself, I would say it is too risky, the admissions rep may not share your humor…unless you can put it in context and write the whole essay around it.</p>
<p>I like it a lot. I think that it shows that you are involved in learning and improving yourself outside of school. So long as you can show your passion, and show your intelligence, I think it might just be that creative twist that colleges will look for.</p>
