<p>My friend who is a teacher at a school says that a parent who is an FBI employee (could be an agent or glorified paper-filer- he doesn’t know) continuously goes to the school and hands out her business cards from the FBI to teachers, proceeds to write everything they say, and behaves in an intimidating manner. Today at a conference she stated that a teacher at the school unfairly gave her kid a B and thus made her attend an unnecessary meeting. She then stated that this teacher pulled her from her job unnecessarily and “compromised the safety of our nation” by making her address the situation. </p>
<p>Does anyone know if the FBI condones this constant mentioning of their agency as an employee addresses personal family issues? Is it OK for them to throw their weight (and their business card) around to anyone and everyone? I am incredulous that a fine person was accused of “compromising the good of the nation.” It seems ludicrous. </p>
<p>Does anyone know about the policies of the FBI with respect to their employees’ use of their agency name?</p>
