Fears Of Med school

I’ve been thinking of becoming a pediatrician , But when i read all the requirments i felt like i was in over my head. Not to mention in college you have to take a Calc class and im TERRIBLE at math. Should i even give it a shot or find another carreer all together?

The med school fail out rate is almost 50%. If you can’t handle calculus you think you have any shot at med school? Come on

Only those who don’t try are those who fail. Take lessons and do it, you can find lessons online,( math.com) ,or something like that. You didn’t come so far to give up now.
Good luck :)

The first part of achieving any dream is to believe in yourself.

Many people want to become doctors simply because it is a career which epitomizes “the respected.” It is a job which is revered and pays a lot to boot.

Those are the wrong reasons to pursue the career, however. Go with something that is in keeping with your interests and your strengths. You’ll find more success, and more respect, by taking that route.

The med school fail out rate is not 50%. Maybe you mean 50% of students who start out as pre med don’t make it? Why not try calculus and work extra hard?

If you really want it, I’m sure you’ll find a way around it.
You’re gonna let one pesky Calculus class stand in your way of Med School?

Get a tutor. I’m sure you can do it.
