<p>Hi, I just got my AP scores back and got a 5 on Calc BC. I guess this changes my schedule. Now it looks like I can take microecon and Calc 1. I have no clue what the “typical” stern freshman schedule is like, so would this schedule be doable?

<p>Yep, you should have no problems. I had a pretty similar schedule last year with calc and mirco.</p>
<p>Micro can be a really tough class depending on the prof. I would try my best to find out what profs are not terrible. If all else fails try finding out how long they have been teaching, the longer of course the better. </p>
<p>You dont want to get into a situation where you have a 1st year prof who can not teach and gives ridiculous tests because he has no idea about proper pedagogy.</p>

<p>You actually have a very light schedule compared to most because Calc I will be very easy for you, and Commerce and Culture is less of a time commitment than Writing the Essay, which most other freshmen are forced to take.</p>
