What was the prompt for the February 2009 writing section?

I can ask my son later. I remember him talking about it and it was something like “is it important to dress for success or should people judge you by who you are not what you wear?”. I know he said he’d talked about the importance of a first impression and a time and a place for everything, etc, but don’t know the exact question.

I remember now, thank you marciemi.

I was wondering because I got an 11, and I was completely shocked because I just rambled on. I remember putting something about Adam and Eve at the end, but I couldn’t remember the prompt.

He also got an 11 and was also shocked! Maybe you had the same liberal grader! ;)

Nope it must have been good because a score of 11 means one grader gave it a 5 out of 6 and the other gave it a 6 out of 6, good job!

it was something along the lines of,
“do you think people should dress to give a certain image, or is that too superficial?”
