Federal scholarship for those majoring in certain fields?

<p>I remember reading about this, like the federal government giving scholarships to people majoring in sciences and certain foreign language? Does such a program exist?</p>

<p>Ther is a program called SMART grant. You have to be eligible for the Pell grant and be a 3rd or 4th year student majoring in an approved field. It is for up to $4,000 a year.</p>

<p>I will get Pell grant but I don’t know what I’m majoring in yet, but the extra money is very enticing.</p>
