Hi,

my cousing is appyling for college and we are trying to find a fee waiver for sending the scores. Does that exist at all? According to the website it does but none of her counselors can figure out how. Anyone have an idea?

[SAT Fee Waivers](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>SAT Fee Waivers – SAT Suite | College Board)

I’m sure it has to. Google it extensively.

Yes, if you receive a fee waiver to take the SAT (you get the form from your guidance counselor - or the counselor at a local high school if you are a homeschooler), they will automatically credit you with 4 additional score reports when you register with a fee waiver for the first time.

Be sure to also ask your couselor for college application fee waivers. If you qualify for an SAT fee waiver you can get four application fee waivers.

I know this first hand because I did it this fall.

Hope this helps!

The counselor has to order the fee waiver cards from the College Board. A high school’s first-time order takes a few weeks to arrive, or at least it did in our case. After that, the College Board will send a new batch of cards to the school every summer. The cards are specific to a particular academic year.

If this is too slow to help your cousin, the counselor could try calling another local high school to see if they have an extra card your cousin could use. The cards are not specific to particular high schools, so they can be shared.

according to the college board:

In short, your cousin needs to log in to his/her college board account and the information will be available. If they have used a college board fee waiver (which they would recieve from their GC, then they would be eligible to send 4 additional score reports).
