I thought it went without saying that public shaming was not an option. But apparently not. So to be clear, calling out users by name is inappropriate; that should be limited to PMs to Sorin. Posts that don’t comply are deleted. Refer to the earlier post by Sorin:

For all those who have experienced what they perceive as bullying, especially if this came from a specific user, can you please send me a PM detailing the experience? It seems this is common feedback from several users and I would like to look into each of those specific cases. We may want to instate a process for us to kick out users who develop a pattern of bullying other users in the PF. Of course, this mustn’t be use as an opportunity to go after people who disagree with.

I’ll be closing the thread for now, but we will get back with more actions in the near future.

I’ll recap the actions we took already to improve your experience in the PF:

• strengthened the PF moderation by bringing in @DadOfJerseyGirl who does an amazing job alongside @sushiritto
• revised the Community Rules and added further Guidance for the PF
• provided support for folks on how to exit the PF (something we should have done from the beginning, but it’s now done and pinned in the PF)
• made an executive decision to ban political ads
• put out a statement condemning the spreading of factually inaccurate information and conspiracy theories and started taking action against users who knowingly and repeatedly do so
• consolidated all election threads into one mega thread
• will be adding ads limited to the PF to help keep the lights on on there
