Feel like I'm Drowning. HELP

Rescue me people, I just feel like I’m drowning in all this SAT stuff. I’ve been practicing the math section like hell and reviewing anything and everything I get wrong. But I still can’t seem to get anything right. Should I change my game plan and just start going through math all over again or should I just stick to practicing and maybe hopefully one day I’ll get the hang of things. Should I buy some special book that will help?

Same with the CR section (writings easy to me). Not trying to sound dramatic but HELP, I beg.

I bet that writing is easy for you, hence your username lolz.

I can’t help with math.
But for CR, read books and figure out the tone, what is being said. It’s simple when you think about it.

Hint:
If a question asks the authors mood NEVER bubble in no feeling, or whatever it is. The author always feels something, otherwise why would they write it? right? lolz

umm…

just read more, and think about what you are reading, and you’ll get it. ^___^

Yeah hence the username  Thanks and love your username (blackrose) my favorite type of rose

haha. No problem.

It’s the user name of a video game player in the manga .Hack

On timed practice tests, in math I manage to get a 15.5 raw for a 20 question multiple choice, I’m not sure how great that is among CC, but among my prep class, that rapes the scores of my friends who took (and maintained a 97+ average in) Accelerated Math 2 and AP Statistics this year and are taking AP Calculus AB in one semester and Accelerated Math 3 in the other next year, so I guess it’s at least decent? I tear through the easy questions as fast as I can, then move onto what’s doable, but the key is in HOW you solve it! Is the choices all had numbers in the 2 range and then a 4 and an 8, you’d plug the 4 in, of course! If you’re smart about what you plug in, then you can save time by not solving(: as for the harder problems, omit what looks like Chinese, but what as for what you can’t solve yet can feel, if you KNOW it’s one of two answer choices, then guess. PS, if the last two were B and you’ve got it down to B or C, pick C. As for CR, the same thing applies, easy first, hard late. By the way, I got a 21 raw for 25 total questions on the section, not great, but if you managed that for every section, it’s a 720+. Use process of elimination for the medium vocabulary questions, tear the easy ones a new anus, and if you’re totally clueless about a hard one, look at the stems and roots, if that doesn’t work, omit it. When reading, if it asks about which statement the author would include or agree with, it’s all about matching it to his style, and if you can write then you’ve got it!(: and NEVER, EVER pick a choice (unless you’re 100% sure it’s correct) that is solid and unwavering, if it uses always or never, it’s almost always wrong. This is what I do. I haven’t had much experience with the SAT, but I’m finishing early and getting the top practice scores in my (crummy) prep class, so yeah. Not sure if I’m qualified or not to answer this, but if I help you out even a little, then hey, I’m glad I could.
