<p>I was a senior in high school last year. My mom decided to sign me up for a dual credit with Oral Roberts University for psychology. I was doing great in the class at first I had an overall B for the class. I started to fall behind because I tore my ACL and I ended up having major family problems. I emailed my professor explaining everything and apologizing on why I was so behind. He understood and have me extra time and another chance to complete all the selective assignments he gave me . I successfully completed them all in one night and turned them in. I waited for a week for new grades. So I emailed him the day after final assignments were to suppose to be turned in. I asked him if he got any of my assignments and responded no and said he wasn’t going to grade them. I was super upset because I knew I turned them all in so I emailed and complained to VP of ORU they were a lot of help. I was able to give proof that I did the assignments and turned them in. So I was told that my professor was going to take time to grade everything. I also thought I was suppose to take final during my finals week but of course I was suppose the online syllabus and take it a certain date, my high school principle told me it was ok to take my final during MY finals week and she wasn’t sure how our school and theirs wanted me to take it. CONFUSED AND UPSET, that’s what I was feeling at the moment ! So now I’m suppose to be going to Hill College to play basketball but I’ll be on academic probation because I have an F in the ORU class I did last year. I talked to the president of the college and they told me the professor looked at my assignments and felt they weren’t good enough . Which makes no sense to me because all the assignments I gave effort on we’re the same effort I gave from the time I started the class . They also are wrong because they put me as a independent student, when I was suppose to be a dependent student since I was only 17 at the time. So they told my mom nothing about what was going on . I’m suppose to be having a meeting with the professor and president of the college ! Any thoughts about this situation ?</p>
