I am going to the HFSmas Nutcracker in VA on December 4th. What do you think of this lineup? I was pretty impressed to say the least…

The Killers
Franz Ferdinand
Keane
Velvet Revolver
Chevelle
Jimmy Eat World
Good Charlotte
My Chemical Romance
Breaking Benjamin

It depends on your thing. I hate Chevelle/J.E.W./Good Charlotte. Franz Ferdinand isn’t so good, and I’ve heard little/none from the others.

So, I wouldn’t go, but then again, I wouldn’t be the one to ask, since that type of music isn’t my thing.

I am mostly referring to people from the “band recommendations” thread. The main band for me is The Killers. For some reason they are huge here and not so much for the rest of the country…

not that bad, but i dont like good charlotte

The Killers are from Vegas (if my memory serves me correct). They get played a lot on the local radio stations here in Vegas.

I absolute love Keane. The Killers and Velvet Revolver are okay. The rest are… blah (great vocab, huh?). Of all them, I simply loathe Good Charlotte’s music (and music only).

“Lifestyyyyles of the riiich and famous!” (shudder)

Keane is sick, I just got hooked on them from Smallville, actually

The Killers and Franz Ferdinand are both great, in my opinion

I LOVE Franz Ferdinand!!!

Same, and who knows how long they will even be in the country.

bah. i wanna go :P

boo at chevelle and good charlotte. gc’s music is not my cup of tea. they’re nice guys though.

I dont like any of that music…I dont know one of those bands :).

I just think I have a different opinion of what good music is…I think people should listen to more classical and jazz…including J.S. Bach and Brad Mehldau

That’s about half good and half bad.

Good Charlotte? Are you kidding me? Ew. But Keane and Velvet Revolver are both good.

i LOVE breaking benjamin… they are great… u wont be dissapointed

crappy concert.

getting to watch the killers in concert is definitely worth enduring the mindless drab of MCR, Jimmy, etc.

I saw The Killers live before they got “big” or whatever, and they were pretty good. The rest is all…eh.

Death Cab For Cutie!!!

Yeah I wish DCFC was there… O well.

I love DCFC! I really hope he does another Postal Service album, too.

Yeah. I saw them perform in houston. www.highway6.com/dcab has some pics from the concert. Pretty Girls Make Graves opened for them.
