Anyone that blames the media or protestors because some crazy person shoots police officers is wrong IMHO. There was and is a problem in Ferguson and while it would have been wrong to hold officer Wilson responsible for that without the evidence that supported that finding it is just as wrong to blame the media and protestors for either reporting it or taking a stand against it.
I am not claiming there was/is no bias in the FPD. Just pointing out that if young men blocked traffic in my neighborhood the way they do in Ferguson, we’d be storming the police station demanding action. It’s not necessarily a “made up” crime, it’s a constant nuisance that hurts quality of life for all residents. 95% of the “walking” arrests were AA, so perhaps the police should have enforced the laws better with white violators.

The Saint Louis area is having a hard time lately living down it’s reputation for racism, with violent imbeciles like this running around. Seeing as how his victim (this time) is somewhat famous, hopefully this racist perp will get hammered by the courts.
I remember Celtics Hall of Famer Bill Russell saying years ago that Saint Louis was his least favorite town to play in (against the old Saint Louis Hawks of the NBA) because of all the racist taunts coming from the fans in the arena.
