I liked last night’s episode - the focus on Crawford and Davis as mothers. I could see their struggle as single working moms. I could also see how Crawford needed her kids to fill a huge gaping hole in her life, which of course no child should ever be expected to fill.
The writing seemed more subtle to me in this episode. There was less being clobbered over the head with exposition. The scene where Davis and Crawford talk about their own mothers was brilliant!
So we’re 3 episodes in, 5 to go, and they already finished the movie. Looking forward to how they fill in the rest of the story.
