Few more questions...

The first session for summer class starts while i am still in high school.around may something. So can i still apply for the summer session second part around june or july. Dr Helen Wise said this would be a good idea to improve chances of getting in. Long story of how i met her. What are a few things you reecomd I do to improve my chances. I volunteer twice a month at a church. I have done two summer camps while in HS. One lunar robotics other is underwater robotics. I am going to Costa Rica this summer as part of a school science trip. I also did a Computer Programming competition at my local community college and will be doing an internship in the near future. My GPA is 4.2 weighted.I am in a program called STEM which is Science Technology Engineering and Math. Which basically puts you into harder classes and classes based on what you want to do in life. (Computer Science). Do you think i will get in. I am currently just a sophomore so i have some time.

Um…if i have anything else to say i will post eventually. Thanks!

When you apply, you just indicate whether you’re willing to start in summer, not which session, so that won’t affect your admission chances at all. As far as which session you pick, if you do LEAP, I believe it runs during the second summer session, so that would solve your problem.

I know sometimes high schools will let students out a week or two early during senior year if they need to start college at that point. My son started at PSU after he finished all his high school work, but before he had actually graduated.
