Few Questions and a Discussion

I have some questions to ask regarding the admission to Harvard. I have completed 2 units or 2 years of French since the beginning of my freshman year in high school, will the shortage of units for the foreign language requirement hinder my chance of being accepted.

Another question does not really only to Harvard but to other colleges out there. I take engineering classes and Computer Technology classes (ie. CCNA, A+, Security) but I don’t know how the admission would the courses as when I give them my application. The engineering and computer technology courses are not marked as college credit course, but are courses that can be seen in other colleges. My main question is this: how does the admission office look at Magnet programs.

This question is more of statement in my regards. When I was a 8th grade I received a rejection letter from the IB program and the only thing left I could do was go to another school that I chose (the one that I am in now). At the time I really wanted to go to IB, and I believed that I was rejected because I was not good enough for the school and I started to doubt my own intelligence. My peers at school believed that I was intelligent but I thought otherwise. How do you feel with getting rejected, and what do you do about it? ****Also, what do you believe the rejection means, as of now I believe that being rejected means you were not good enough?

My D was admitted SCEA last year with only 2 years of French, so that should not be a problem providing the rest of your application is strong.
