Fido Rogers question

My parents recently purchased a 3 year contract with Rogers, but with really bad minutes- 150 daytime, 1000 night/weekend (monthly), but unlimited network calling. 2 of my friends got Fido plans, and I want to know if this is considered as part of my unlimited network calling? Thanks.

from what I have heard, Fido seems a little better than rogers based on its features alone. Fido has some plan where it lets you have x number of friends and oyu can call them anytime you want and its free, even friends in rogers.

I don’t think it is part of your unlimited calling, but Im no expert. Just call the company, or talk to a sales representative.

fido is owned by, and thus shares the Roger’s network. I believed fido-fido includes fido-rogers.

Rogers has the same five-friends deal. I’m on the 100 daytime, 1000 evening/weekend plan right now, which sucks, but that’s Canada for you.

My son got his first Rogers bill today – $98 for not even three weeks! That includes the $35 one-time charge and a $6 charge when I called his cell. He said he did not go over on his minutes. Is there any way to get the cost down and still have a plan he can live with? He doesn’t even have voicemail or caller ID for that charge. And of course the bill came in French, although he requested it in English, so it’s difficult for him to decipher. His resmate’s also was that amount. Is it always this high but more noticeable this year because of the exchange rate?
