apply - why not?
Your school will have a policy though related to if they’re eligible - so I’d start with that before applying.
They can also tell you about federal loans - which may be avail but maybe not if you’ve reached the limit.
Talk to financial aid at school to learn about possibilities.

Many fifth year students still have loan eligibility remaining. A lot of schools cap institutional aid at 8 semesters, but not all do. And Pell eligible students may still have remaining Pell eligibility. Talk to the school financial aid office to get the specifics for your student.
