So I’m a little confused here figuring out my GPA from De Anza.
There Scoring system is the following:
A+ 4.0
A 4.0
A- 3.7
B+ 3.3
B 3.0
B- 2.7
C+ 2.3
C 2.0
D+ 1.3
D 1.0
D- 0.7
F 0.0
On their site it says to figure out your GPA you divide your Total grade points (To figure this out you would multiply the units x grade point) over your Total letter grade points.

So for an example lets so I got a B- in Calc a 5 unit class so 5 x 2.7 = 13.5. An A in Eng so 4 x 5 = 20 and an A in Micro econ so 4 x 4 = 16. If you add up the grade points you get 49.5. If you add up the letter grade points you get 10.7. If you divide 49.5 / 10.7 my GPA comes out to be 4.62. Now looking it seems like I made a mistake because I dont see how much GPA could exceed 4.0. Can anyone help me out here?
