File 1040EZ now or wait??

I am contemplating doing my DDs tax return. She is the only one in the family who doesn’t need our CPA to do it. My question is given the talk of tax rebates, etc. is it prudent to wait a bit before filing? Or doesn’t it matter?

Doesn’t matter a bit. File now.

I’ve already filed by tax return. I used Tax Cut. It turns out I have a nice rebate coming my way. You can use some of the free online tax software.

Thanks all. I actually did it on taxact.com for free. Never knew that stuff was out there…one of my employees tipped me off. Ours are too complex and require the CPA.

Mine require a shaman. :(

I’m just SO happy that this year I don’t need to rush to do our taxes and get the FAFSA/PROFILE in so early. I can wait until March or so… I love having one kid on the way out of college, and one already IN! ;)

A shaman sounds far more fun and interesting than an accountant or tax software.

Hey I’ll go for a shaman if it will lower my tax bill. Maybe David Copperfield could make it disappear??
