Hello, Am I able to apply to two different colleges for the FAFSA and just put the same information on both even if it will change upon moving? For example, right now I’m living with my mom, if I decide to live with my uncle and transfer colleges would I have to claim him on it or could I just claim my mom? I’m not sure how it works because I qualify for the aid living with my mom but I don’t know if I would qualify for it if I put my uncles information on it
Use the info of the person who claims you as a dependent on their taxes.
FAFSA asks to list your PARENT - your uncle is not your parent, therefore you are not able to list him on your FAFSA.

If your uncle legally adopts u, then u can identify him as a parent.
