Film for Non-Film Majors

I heard that students are usually left with some extra elective credits each year. Would it be possible for a non-film major (I’ll be majoring in Communication) to take a class in Screenwriting at some point?

There are screenwriting classes for non-majors(no D clearance) and they are different from the screenwriting classes for film majors.

If you enjoy the non-major class, it is very easy to minor in Cinematc Arts… They re-worked the minors this year so that you no longer have to go through an application process - you just walk in and declare the minor.
