Film Programs at Boarding Schools

I was wondering about how good film programs are at boarding schools, specifically Andover, Exeter, Groton, Hotchkiss, and St. Paul’s. If you have any information whatsoever regarding any of these programs (classes, clubs, equipment, etc.), then please share. Thanks!!

Second this post!

Interlochen has a Motion Picture Arts major - the best high-school level program in the country.

Here’s a link to information about the program, as well as information about six-week and three-week summer programs:

Concord has a three-year progression of filmmaking classes, starting with shooting with both Super 8 and digital in filmmaking I. The highest level class can be repeated for credit. They also have a screenwriting class, a film history class, and an independent studies that you can repeat for credit. Completed film projects are shown to the entire school at an assembly each semester. There are also periodic film screenings on Friday nights.

Thanks! Bumpppp?

I looked at a few websites - you can go look through course catalogs. Andover has many video classes. Exeter has a film (making I think) club. One class at Groton.
