Film Programs: Boston University vs Emerson vs Florida State University

Hi,

I would love to hear some opinions regarding these 3 programs if anyone has any insight into any of them. I know all 3 are fairly different but I’m more interested in figuring out which of these schools offers more opportunities in terms of jobs upon graduation/real on-set experiences/opportunities given to the students for internships, help given to students for their thesis films, etc.

Good choices all. Florida State’s Film School - which is incredibly difficult to get into - has a fantastic mentorship program:

Every graduate has the opportunity to be assigned to a mentor, who coordinates with faculty and staff to create career plans for students as they leave the program. This provides more than 97% of the College’s graduates with meaningful work in the motion picture and television industry within 12 months of graduation.
