<p>when asked if all of my financial forms were in, the person said that my fin aid package had already been calculated. i’m applying ed round 2 (deadline jan 15, though i had my app in way back in late november). does it mean i’m in and they did my fin aid, or do you think they figure out packages for every single applicant (because the info is already in the computer or whatever) despite the admission decision? thoughts?

<p>financial aid doesn’t wait to hear from admissions before it runs its calculations. And at schools that are NOT need-blind the adcoms will ask about the need of different students, so the finance office needs to have the numbers ready.</p>
