anyone know if we can check our fin aid before we get our package in any way?

I have no idea … but i hope someone else does.

I asked a similar question earlier, no luck
Went crawling through the crash-prone pages of Cornell, best I’ve found was that the package would be sent out shortly after the offer of admission in “early April”

this yr’z offers are already mailed a few hrs before the decision was posted online…just im international so prob would take some time for it to reach here

really? financial aid offers? sweeeeet.

i want my offer!!!

shootin’ star, Cornell would have e-mailed you regarding it. I think it only applys to internationals.

i have not receive that email yet…

Thats weird. I got it stating I wouldn’t be able to receive aid. So…maybe you’ll get aid!?! Good luck though.

which country are you from and when did you receive that email?

I don’t get it either. But I got an email before saying that the aid decisions would be emailed to international stutents this Friday…Anyone got the offer?

cornell being an ivy, im assuming 100% of your determined financial need is met? those stats aren’t listed on the college board. also, how does this compare with the statutory colleges for NY residents?

PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER THIS QUESTION. thanks

I didn’t even get the first email you mentioned…im so worried…

I’m from Malaysia. I received it today (though time was 4 hours ago).

Maybe it went into your junk mail? But anyway here is the important part

international students tend to get screwed over unfortunately :(

im thinking that canadians arent considered as internationals…?

also i guess its aprtial aid huh :(

canadians are not intl.

I wonder how other intl.s do get finaid. on cornell website, it says that they have really limited finaid for intls.

can someone answer my previous question?

I’m international and I didn’t get any e-mail…it seems that I’ll have to wait for snail mail.

Here’s the deal. I think Cornell can afford to fund about 15-20 int. students a year, and I don’t mean CAS but the entire university. So I assume CAS gets about 10 finaid packages for int. students. And no, it’s not need-based for int. students, most of you won’t get a penny, unfortunately.
