<p>I am a male high school student living in Southern California and was interested in a few East Coast Schools (Northeastern..Boston College)</p>
<p>I have heard from a few sources that some schools are less likely to award a Southern California resident with financial aid because of the property values here. Is this true?</p>
<p>And also.. what do you think my chance is of recieving a merit-based scholarship?</p>
