im not into $200K+ debts.

My advice is apply, get accepted and when the fat package comes, you may be pleasantly surprised.

what do you mean by debt free? Apart from being need-blind and full-need, Princeton only offers grants, which replaced loans a few years ago (99, i think?), and obviously they won’t put you in a position that you have to make a loan (full need), so i guess that it’s perfectly possible and very probable to graduate debt free… i think everyone graduates debt-free, as far as tuition, and not gambling eccentricities, is concerned… :D

check out their site… everything’s there

thank you for the replies.

i actually looked at the grant that i would get … and it’s around $22K, which is like half off… it’s alright, but i will have to pay the rest.

although, i’ve heard that pricneton prefers ppl not to graduate with debt. and princeton is one the Ivies that is super generous.

i’m a junior this year, and i’ve been just looking at colleges. it’s a tough decision, but i have a competitive application to any Ivy, more specifically Princeton. one of the most important things is getting married and finding a companion… so i think finaid, academics, and girls are the three things that top the charts.

thanks for the reply…

  “of the most important things is getting married and finding a companion… so i think finaid, academics, and girls are the three things that top the charts.”

wow

definetily someone who knows what he wants! duuude… i’ve hear that 70% of Ptonians marry each other but i didn’t know they all went there with that intention.

wouldn’t it be cool if we were to find out that Princeton is actually a super experiment whose sole purpose is to get together the smartest persons in the world, make them marry each other so their kids will be even smarter and thus attempt to create the super-human? (Although the risk of inbreeding is high)

Hm… well amnesia i admire the fact that you know what you want to do in your life, but don’t get all pumped up about it, or you might get married to the first woman you think is suitable and it might not turn out good.

i’m not trying to jump the gun… thanks for understanding revan. i have a lot of months ahead of me… and three more weeks until school ends. so far, it looks like i’ll be keeping my rank 1 status in my class, as unweighted and weighted. it’s looking good. my last thing to get done is the SAT in June. I hope a 2000+ is suitable. right now, if i combine everything from the old SAt and SAT II writing, i have a 1900 exactly.

Revan, I believe you got the administration at Pton pegged. They are trying to breed super-smart humans. It happens everywhere.
