<p>If you haven’t already gotten you firm offer (not the one you got in December or January), that means that you need to submit the FAFSA as soon as possible. If they already have your FAFSA, which is necessary if you’re applying for financial aid, then they certainly wouldn’t ask for it again to consider a merit scholarship, which is not need based, so why wuld they need your FAFSA anyway?</p>
