Webster University won the “Final Four” championship yesterday, becoming the national collegiate chess champions. Congrats to the Grandmaster Gorlocks!

Pretty cool. Do you have a Webster connection or are you just a chess fan?

I am a director of one of the satellite campuses (we have about 100 throughout the world) so an indirect connection. The team is composed of students from our main campus in St. Louis. Some of the CC posters still in high school have mentioned chess competitions in their chance me threads. And yes, I talked up CC as the awesome resource it is to the high school parents who were at the competition.

I just found it interesting that the Washington Post covered the competition so I thought it would be okay to share.
